ക്രൂശിതൻ

യാത്രക്കിടയിൽ നൈനാൻ അവനെ കണ്ടു. കുരിശും പേറി ലോകം താണ്ടുന്നവൻ. അവനെ കണ്ടതും നൈനാൻ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു, “ഒരിക്കൽ നീ കുരിശിൽ മരിച്ചതല്ലേ പിന്നെ വീണ്ടും നീ കുരിശുമായി എവിടേക്കാണ്?”

“ഞാൻ കുരിശിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ മരിച്ചവൻ തന്നെ. പക്ഷെ ഞാൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനാണ്... വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കുരിശുമായി ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിലൂടെ ഞാൻ കടന്നുപോകുന്നുണ്ട്, പക്ഷെ ആരും എന്നെ കാണുന്നില്ല."

ക്രൂശിതൻ തുടർന്നു, “ഇതിനു മുമ്പ് ഞാൻ ഇതിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയപ്പോൾ ഇത് ഒരു യുദ്ധ ഭൂമി ആയിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് മനുഷ്യരോ, ജീവജാലങ്ങളോ ഇവിടെയില്ല.

പരസ്പരം കടിച്ചുകീറി തങ്ങൾ പടുത്തുയർത്തിയ അംബരചുംബികൾ സ്വയം തച്ചുടച്ച് ഭൂമിയെ അവർ ഒരു മണലാരണ്യം ആക്കി. പരസ്പരം കൊന്ന് കൂട്ടസ്മശാനങ്ങളിൽ അന്തിയുറങ്ങുന്ന അവരുടെ മുകളിലൂടെ ആണല്ലോ ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ നടക്കേണ്ടത്.

കുരിശു മരണത്തിലൂടെ ഞാൻ നേടികൊടുത്ത രക്ഷ സ്വന്തമാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്ത അവർ എൻറെ ഈ കടന്നു പോകലിൽ നിത്യരക്ഷ എങ്കിലും പ്രാപിക്കുമല്ലോ എന്ന ആശ്വാസത്തോടെയാണ് ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും യാത്ര ചെയ്‌യുന്നത്‌.” 

“ഈ വഴിയിലൂടെയുള്ള എന്റെ കഴിഞ്ഞ യാത്രയിലൂടെ നിന്നെയും ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുപോകട്ടെയോ.” ക്രൂശിതൻ നൈനാനോട് ചോദിച്ചു. നൈനാൻ സമ്മതമെന്ന രീതിയിൽ തലയാട്ടി.

കുരിശും പേറി അവൻ അദൃശ്യനായി നടന്നു. നൈനാനും അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു. നൈനാനല്ലാതെ മറ്റാർക്കും അവനെ കാണാൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായുള്ള യാത്ര.

കുരിശിൻറെ ഭാരമോ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ പരിഹാസമോ, അടിയോ അവൻ ഗൗനിച്ചില്ല. അവയൊന്നും തന്നെ അവനെ വേദനിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.

പക്ഷേ ജനതകളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കേണ്ട നേതാക്കൾ ചേരിതിരിഞ്ഞ് ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തി പരസ്പരം ആക്രമിക്കാൻ പദ്ധതികൾ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻറെ ഹൃദയവും മനസ്സും അവർണനീയമായ വേദനയിൽ മുങ്ങി.

പിലാത്തോസ് അവനെ മരണത്തിനു വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തപ്പോൾ പോലും ഇത്രയും ഭയാനകമായ വേദന അവൻ അനുഭവിച്ചില്ല.

യുദ്ധ ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ ഭീകരത അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തി. തകർന്ന കെട്ടിടങ്ങളും, വീഥികളും. അവയ്ക്കിടയിൽ ചിതറിക്കിടക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യശരീരങ്ങളും. വീടുകളിലും ബങ്കറുകളിലും ഭക്ഷണമോ വെള്ളമോ ഇല്ലാതെ കഴിയുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളും.

അവരുടെ ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരും, പ്രായപൂർത്തി ആയ മക്കളും ശത്രുവിനെതിരെ യുദ്ധമുഖത്ത് ആണ്. അവരൊക്കെ ഇപ്പോൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പുണ്ടോ എന്നുപോലും അവർക്ക് അറിയില്ല.....

നൈനാൻ യാത്രതുടർന്നു. മലകളും താഴ്വരകളും കാടുകളും താണ്ടിയുള്ള യാത്ര അങ്ങനെ നൈനാൻ ഒരു വിജനപ്രദേശത്ത് എത്തിപ്പെട്ടു. ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു മരത്തിന് ചുവട്ടിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കാം എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയ നൈനാന് ഒരു മരവും കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല.

സൂര്യനസ്തമിച്ചെന്നു കരുതി മുകളിലേക്കു നോക്കിയ നൈനാനെ ആ കാഴ്ച അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തി. അനേകായിരം മീറ്റർ അകലെ ഉയരത്തിൽ പന്തലിട്ട പോലെ വിരിഞ്ഞുനിൽക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷ ശിഖരങ്ങൾ. ഇതെന്താണെന്ന് കൗതുകം തോന്നിയ നൈനാൻ മുമ്പോട്ടു നടന്നു. അങ്ങുദൂരെ വളരെ വിശാലമായി വളർന്നു പടർന്നു പന്തലിച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു വൃക്ഷം. 

ആ പടുകൂറ്റൻ വൃക്ഷത്തിന് അടിയിൽ ആണ് താൻ നിൽക്കുന്നത് എന്നത് നൈനാനെ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തി. ആ മരത്തിന്റെ താഴെ ഒരു പുല്ലു പോലും കിളുത്തിട്ടില്ല അതിൻറെ ഉണങ്ങിയതും വാടിയതും ചീഞ്ഞതുമായ ഫലങ്ങളാൽ നിലം ആവരണം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇത്രയും വലിയ മരങ്ങളും ലോകത്തുണ്ടോ? ഇത് എന്ത് മരമായിരിക്കും? ഈ മരത്തിൻറെ ആയുസ്സ് എത്രയായിരിക്കും? ഇത്രയും വലിയ മരത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് താൻ എവിടെയെങ്കിലും   പഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?  ഇതായിരിക്കുമോ ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കൂടിയ മരം? ഇങ്ങനെ പല ചിന്തകളും നൈനാന്റെ മനസിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോയി.

ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന് അതെല്ലാം കണ്ടെത്താൻ സാധിക്കുമായിരിക്കും. പക്ഷെ ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞന്മാർക്ക് ഈ മരത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയാമോ? ചിന്താധീനനായ നൈനാൻ എന്തോ വീഴുന്ന ശബ്ദം കേട്ടാണ് ഇടത്തേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കിയത്.

ഇതാ തന്നോട് ചേർന്ന് തനിക്കായ്‌ എന്നപോലെ ആ മരത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു ഫലം വീണിരിക്കുന്നു. നൈനാൻ അത് കൈകളിൽ എടുത്തു. കാണാൻ നല്ല കൗതുകം ഉള്ള ഫലം. എന്നാൽ താൻ ഇന്നുവരെ കഴിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഫലങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിനോടും അതിനു സാമ്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

കാണാൻ അത്ര മനോഹരമായ ആ പഴം കഴിക്കാനുള്ളത് ആയിരിക്കുമോ അല്ലയോ എന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് തന്നെ കൈകൾ അവയെ നൈനാൻറെ വായിൽ എത്തിച്ചു. ഒന്ന് കടിച്ചതും നൈനാൻ അതിനെ വായിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തേക്കു തുപ്പി. അനേകം വിഭിന്ന പഴങ്ങളുടെ സ്വാദ് ഒന്നിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഫലം.   

ഇത് കഴിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യമാണോ?  ഇത്രയും സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ ഒന്ന് ഇതുവരെ രുചിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഒരു തുള്ളി നീര് അകത്തായി കാണുകയുള്ളൂ.  അതിനാൽ തനിക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും സംഭവിക്കുമോ എന്നറിയാൻ നൈനാൻ കാത്തിരുന്നു. 

ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ നൈനാൻ ആ ഫലത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു കഷണം കടിച്ചെടുത്തു. എന്തെന്നില്ലാത്ത അനർഗളമായ സ്വാദ്.  നാക്കിൽ നിന്നും വായുടെ ഇതരഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും സന്തോഷസ്രവം പോലെ ഉമിനീർ നീർച്ചാൽ പോലെ ഒഴുകി ഇറങ്ങി. 

ലോകത്തെങ്ങും എവിടെയും കാണുകയോ കേൾക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഈ ഫലം എന്തായിരിക്കും എന്ന് നൈനാൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അത് മുഴുവൻ കഴിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴാണ് നൈനാൻ ഒരു കാര്യം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചത് ആ മരത്തിൻറെ ഫലത്തിന് വിത്ത് ഇല്ല എന്നുള്ളത്.

ഇത്രയും സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ ഒരു ഫലം നൽകുന്ന വൃക്ഷത്തിൻറെ പഴത്തിന് കുരുവില്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കാൻ നൈനാന് സാധിച്ചില്ല. അതിനാൽ താഴെ കിടന്നിരുന്ന ഉണങ്ങിയ ഫലങ്ങൾ കയ്യിലെടുത്തു നൈനാൻ ഓരോന്നായി പൊട്ടിച്ചു നോക്കി. ഒന്നിനും കുരു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല................

പിക്കാസോ

യാത്രക്കിടയിൽ നൈനാൻ വലിയൊരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ എത്തിപ്പെട്ടു. തിരക്കേറിയ വീഥിയിലൂടെ നടന്നു നീങ്ങിയ നൈനാന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ ആ വലിയ സൗധം വന്നുപെട്ടു. എന്തോ ആകാംക്ഷ തോന്നിയ നൈനാൻ അതിനെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി നീങ്ങി. അതിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ വലിയ ആൾകൂട്ടം.

എന്തെന്ന് നൈനാന് മനസിലായില്ല. ആളുകളുടെ സംസാരം മാറിനിന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് മനസിലായത് പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ചിത്രകാരൻ വാന്ഗോഗിന്റെ ലോകം അന്നുവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ചിത്രമായ പിക്കാസോയുടെ പ്രദർശനമാണെന്ന്. പ്രസിദ്ധനായ പാബ്ലോ പിക്കാസോ എന്ന ചിത്രകാരന്റെ മരണത്തിനു ശേഷം പത്തു വർഷങ്ങൾ   കഴിഞ്ഞു കണ്ടെടുത്ത ഈ ചിത്രം ലോകത്തെ ആകമാനം അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. ഇന്ന് ലോകം അത്ഭുതത്തോടെ നോക്കിക്കാണുന്ന, എന്നാൽ വാൻ ഗോഗ് കേട്ടിട്ടുപോലുമില്ലാതിരുന്ന പിക്കാസോയുടെ ചിത്രം വാൻ ഗോഗ് വരച്ചുവെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കാൻ ഇപ്പോഴും ആർക്കും സാധിക്കുന്നില്ല.    

ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് കണ്ടുകിട്ടിയ ആ ചിത്രം അവിടെ പ്രദർശനത്തിന് വച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അതും വളരെ വലിയ സുരക്ഷാ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങളോടെ. ആ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ വിലപോലും ആരും അന്നുവരെ കണക്കാക്കിയിട്ടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. ലോകത്തിൽ അന്നുവരെ വിറ്റിട്ടുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വിലപിടിച്ച ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും നൂറിരട്ടി വിലയുണ്ടാകുമെന്നാണ് വാർത്തകളിൽ കേൾക്കുന്നത്.

അങ്ങനെ പിക്കാസോ ലോകം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിശ്വപ്രസിദ്ധ ചിത്രമായി മാറി. ഒരു നടനോ കായിക അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കും ഒരിക്കലും കൈവരിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്ത വിലയാണ് പിക്കാസോയ്ക്ക് ഉള്ളത്.  പിക്കാസോയുടെ രൂപവും ഭാവവും അത് കാണാൻവന്നവരെ പലരെയും സ്തബ്ധരാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പലർക്കും എന്തെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തവിധം നിഗുഢമായിരുന്നു പിക്കാസോ. കൂടിനിന്നിരുന്നവർ തങ്ങൾ കാണാൻപോകുന്ന ചിത്രത്തെക്കുറിച്ച മറ്റുള്ളവർ പറഞ്ഞതും വാർത്തകളിൽ വായിച്ചതുമായ അറിവുകൾ പങ്കുവച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

എല്ലാവരും വളരെ വലിയ ആവേശത്തിലായിരുന്നു. ധാരാളം ആളുകൾ തന്നെ കാണാൻ ദിവസേനെ വന്നുപോയിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കിലും പിക്കാസോക്ക് തന്നെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വിലമതിക്കപെട്ടവനാണ് താനെന്ന് പിക്കാസോ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നുമില്ല.

സന്യാസം

പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ കണ്ണുതുറന്ന് എഴുനേറ്റപ്പോൾ നയനന്റെ മനസിന്റെ കോണുകളിൽ രാത്രിയിലെ സ്വപ്നം ഒളിഞ്ഞു നോക്കികൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

സ്വപ്നത്തിന്റെ അർഥം ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ കിണഞ്ഞു പരിശ്രമിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് യാദ്ര്ശ്ചികമായി അവൻ കണ്ണാടിയുടെ മുൻപിൽ ചെന്ന് നിന്നത്.

കണ്ണാടിയിൽ നോക്കിയ നൈനാന് തന്റെ കണ്ണുകളെ വിശ്വസിക്കാനായില്ല. അതെ തനിക്ക് എന്തൊക്കയോ മാറ്റം സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇത് ഇന്നലെ ഉറങ്ങാൻ കിടന്ന തൻ അല്ല. സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ കടലിന്റെ അനന്തതയിൽ മറഞ്ഞിട്ട് തന്റെ പുറകിൽ നിന്നെ ഓടിയടുത്ത അതേ രൂപം.

“എന്തൊരു മാറ്റം. സ്വപനത്തിൽ കണ്ടതുപോലെയൊക്കെ സംഭവിക്കുമോ”? നൈനാന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഉയർന്നു.

നൈനാൻ മുറിയിൽനിന്നും സാവധാനം പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങി നടന്നു. വീട്ടുകാരും നാട്ടുകാരും തന്നെ അന്യനെ പോലെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കുന്നു.

നൈനാന് ഒരു കാര്യം മനസിലായി. തന്നെ അവർക്ക് മനസിലായിട്ടില്ല. ഇനി മനസിലാക്കുകയും ഇല്ല.

അതിനാൽ ഇവിടെ നിന്നിട്ടു കാര്യമില്ല. നൈനാൻ വീടും നാടും വിട്ട് അവസാനമില്ലാത്ത വഴികൾ തേടി യാത്രയായി.

മഞ്ഞിലും മഴയിലും വെയിലിലും കുടചൂടാതെ നഗ്ന പാദനായി മരുഭൂമികളും കൊടുമുടികളും താണ്ടി തന്നെ മനസിലാകുന്നവരെ തേടി നൈനാൻ ദേശങ്ങൾ താണ്ടി. പക്ഷെ നൈനാൻ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഒരു അപരിചിതൻ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. 

പല ദേശങ്ങളിലൂടെ പല ജനതകളെയും താണ്ടി നൈനാൻ യാത്ര തുടർന്ന്. കാണുന്നവരെല്ലാം അയാളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കി. ആരും അയാളോട് ഒന്നും ചോദിക്കുകയോ പറയുകയോ ചെയ്തില്ല. അതിനാൽ നൈനാനും ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

ഒരുദിവസം കുറെ ദൂരങ്ങൾ താണ്ടിയതിനു ശേഷം യാത്രചെയ്തു ക്ഷീണിച്ച നൈനാൻ ഒരു മരച്ചുവട്ടിൽ ഇരുന്നു. കുറെ സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഒരു വിചിത്ര വേഷധാരി അതുവഴി വന്നു. നൈനാൻ ഇരുന്ന മരച്ചുവട്ടിൽ വിശ്രമത്തിനായി ഇരുന്നു.

സ്വപ്നം

നിദ്രയെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യാൻ തലയ്ക്കു മുകളിൽ കറങ്ങുന്ന പങ്കയിലേക്കുനോക്കി നൈനാൻ കിടന്നു. നിദ്ര തന്നെവിട്ട് വഴിമാറിപ്പോയോ എന്ന സന്ദേഹം മനസ്സിൽ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ മുളപൊട്ടുന്നുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

അതിനിടയിൽ നയനാന്റെ മനസ്   ആഴിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഊഴിയിടുവാനും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അനന്തതയിലേക്ക് പറക്കുവാനും ഉള്ള വ്യഗ്രതയിൽ ആഴങ്ങൾ തേടി അലഞ്ഞു.

അയാൾതന്നെ  അറിയാതെ ഭാവനാ ലോകത്തുനിന്നും  പടികൾ  ഇറങ്ങിയ നൈനാനെ നിദ്ര സാവധാനം പുണർന്നു. നിദ്രയിൽ സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ സാധാരണമായിരുന്നു. ആസാദാരണങ്ങളായവ സംഭവിക്കണമെന്ന് അയാൾ സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ പോലും ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.

എങ്കിലും അസ്തിത്വത്തിന്റെ ഇച്ഛയിൽ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ പോലും അനുഭവങ്ങളായി. നൈനാൻ കടലിന്റെ അനന്തതയിൽ കണ്ണും നട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അനന്തതയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ആരവത്തിന്റെ അകമ്പടിയോടെ കടൽ ഓടി അടുത്തികൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

അതിശക്തമായ കാറ്റ് വീശിയടിച്ചു. തന്റെ കാൽകീഴിലെ മണ്ണ് ഒലിച്ചു പോകുന്നതായി നൈനാന് തോന്നി.

പിന്നെ ഒന്നും ആലോചിച്ചില്ല. കാറ്റിനെതിരെ തിരകൾകേതിരെ കടലിലേക്ക് അവൻ ഓടിയിറങ്ങി. തിരമാലകളുടെ മുകളിലൂടെ കാറ്റിനെതിരെ വായുവേഗത്തിൽ അവൻ മുന്നോട്ടു കുതിച്ചു.

കാറ്റിന്റെ ഹുങ്കാരം നിലച്ചപ്പോഴും അനന്തതയിൽ ഓടിമറയുന്ന തന്നെ നോക്കി കടൽക്കരയിൽ നൈനാൻ നില്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു...........

ജോയി ഐസക്കിന്റെ നൈനാൻ എന്ന ചെറുകഥാ സമാഹാരത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദാവിഷ്കാരം.

ഭ്രാന്ത്

ഭ്രാന്തമായ മനസ്സിനെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ എത്ര ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടും പരാജയപ്പെട്ട നൈനാൻ വീടിൻറെ മുറിക്കുള്ളിൽ തലങ്ങും വിലങ്ങും നടന്നു. ഇതിലും ഭേദം മരുന്നിൻറെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെയും നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങളില്ലാതെ ഭ്രാന്തൻ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളുടെ അനന്ത വിഹായസ്സിൽ വിഹരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. നൈനാൻ മനസ്സിൽ ഓർത്തു.

ശരീരത്തിനും, മനസ്സിനും, ചിന്തകൾക്കും, വികാരങ്ങൾക്കും ചങ്ങല ഇട്ടപോലെ വീടിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ തളക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ചങ്ങല ഇട്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നേയുള്ളൂ. കാരണം വീട്ടിലെ കാര്യങ്ങളെല്ലാം നോക്കാൻ താൻ തന്നെ വേണം; കടയിൽ പോകണം, പറമ്പിൽ പണിയെടുപ്പിക്കണം അങ്ങനെ പലതും.

പക്ഷേ എല്ലാം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നത് രാത്രിയിൽ കഴിക്കുന്ന മരുന്നുകൾ ആണെന്ന് മാത്രം. എല്ലാവരിൽനിന്നും സ്വതന്ത്രനായി ഭ്രാന്തമായ ലോകത്തേക്ക് ഒരുദിവസം വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഓടി ഇറങ്ങിയതാണ്. നാട്ടുകാരും വീട്ടുകാരും പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടി ഭ്രാന്താശുപത്രിയിലാക്കി.

തനിക്ക് ഭ്രാന്താണെന്ന് മറ്റുള്ളവർ അറിയുന്നതും, വഴിയിലൂടെ അലയുന്നതും വിദേശത്തും മറ്റും ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന തന്റെ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്ക് കുറച്ചിലാണത്രെ. അതിനാൽ മാത്രമാണ് അവർ തന്നെ മാനസിക ആശുപത്രിയിലാക്കി ചികിത്സിച്ചത്.

പക്ഷേ ഒരു കാര്യം അവർ മറന്നു കളഞ്ഞു. അവരുടെ ആത്മാഭിമാനത്തിന് വേണ്ടി തനിക്ക് നൽകപ്പെട്ട അനന്തമായ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന് അവർ കൂച്ചുവിലങ്ങിട്ടു. അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പോലും ഇപ്പോൾ നൈനാന് വെറുപ്പാണ്.

വീട്ടിൽ ഫോൺ ബെൽ അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ നൈനാന്റെ രക്തം തിളച്ചു മറിയും. തന്നെ മരുന്നിൻറെ മയക്കത്തിന് അടിമ ആക്കിയിട്ട് വിശേഷം തിരക്കാൻ വിളിക്കുന്നവർ. സഹോദരങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരോടും നൈനാന് വെറുപ്പാണ്.

അതിലും കൂടുതൽ വെറുപ്പ് നൈനാന് തന്നോട് തന്നെയാണ്. ഇത്രയും ഉന്നതമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടിയിട്ടും എങ്ങും എത്തിപ്പെടാൻ സാധിക്കാത്ത ഒരു പാഴ്ജന്മം ആയിപ്പോയല്ലോ താൻ. എന്താണ് തന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ ഇങ്ങനെ ഭ്രാന്തമാക്കിയതെന്ന് ഇന്നും വ്യക്തമാകുന്നില്ല................

The Journal Lancet has published the expert's view and it is the same as that I have been holding and talking around.

Let me tell you what I considered as the reason for the spread of Coronavirus.

I am a common man who was closely watching the emergence of Corona in China and the way people were affected. I was also watching the actions and declarations of WHO which at last declared it a Pandemic. In the beginning, I was very curious to see how it unfolds as I have only heard of a pandemic and had not faced a pandemic situation. 

I am not from a science and biology background but had experience in handling first aid cases in my life and my fifty years of life dealing with health issues of mine and my family members that emerged at some point in time gave me some understanding of respiratory health problems. When it emerged and started to spread, I strongly believed that Coronavirus could have stopped at the beginning itself if WHO and doctors, experts, and health scientists guided people to inhale steam at least twice daily till the virus is irradicated from the earth. If it had been done at the early stage, it would have been contained to China itself followed by necessary and required air and land travel restrictions.

I say this because I experimented with this with myself and the people around me. I was the one who had to go to shops daily to purchase groceries and vegetables for my family during the lockdown periods when the shops are open at our place. I used to take steam twice or thrice daily. I never got COVID during its peak time even if I had visited relatives and friends with COVID during their emergencies because I used to take steam. I got covid only after I stopped taking steam when the spread has somehow come down.

I have another example also today for the credit of my argument that one of my relatives whom we thought is the most vulnerable to contact COVID is also diabetic and has cholesterol and had some variation in blood pressure. He is the only person today I know who has not contacted COVID as he is still taking steam twice daily. He did not even get a mild fever during this COVID period and he used to get a fever at least once a year.

I strongly believed from the beginning that COVID is spread mainly through the air. I used to laugh at the statements of WHO in the beginning when they used to tell that COVID is not spread through the air and fooled people with their visuals which made them believe that it spreads mainly through touch. But what was happening and evident at that time was that COVID was really spreading across the globe through the air. COVID was transported across the globe, not because of touch but by sharing it among people in air travel which should have been the first thing to stop, to stop the spread of COVID. But the people sitting at the top of WHO and governments were not ready to do this and provide people with reasonable and accessible remedies as they are only concerned with money, vaccines, and propaganda.

Instead of spending money on propaganda like spreading flowers in hospitals and asking people to drum thalis, if these people had asked people to purchase steamers and inhale steam daily twice at their homes, the world would have been different now and could not have seen a pandemic called COVID.

When a common man like me could come to a conclusion at the beginning of the emergence of COVID that it can be contained with the use of inhaling steam as one of the major remedies that doctors prescribe for any kind of respiratory problem, why WHO and expert doctors could not propagate and guide people it as a precautionary measure?

If it had been done, we would not have faced this COVID pandemic. It is high time to scrutinize the working of WHO and world health bodies as it seems they are only concerned with money, the sale of medicines, and vaccines, and the revenue it generates and not about the health of the people.

It seems, that the WHO and many organizations that have to be caretakers of humanity now have become puppets in the hands of some of the countries and multi-national pharmaceutical companies and that may be the reason why the WHO is not even able to find out the cause and origin of the COVID when it has all the resources and connections.

 

GREEN ENERGY CALLED PROGRAMMED ENERGY

Energy Revolution

The world is worried about the great damage that the greenhouse effect of fossil fuel is causing the world.

Scientists are in search of alternative energy sources and major among them are hydropower, solar power and nuclear power. There is a lot of advantage and disadvantage to all these power generation sources.

Solar energy is very costly for common people to afford at present but it is the most preferred one by environmentalists because it does not harm its surroundings while generation and in its use.

Another one scientists are betting is Hydrogen energy which can be generated by splitting water. It seems we have to wait for decades to see the common man using it.

The Big question is, are we going to limit our research only to these known sources or do we have more options?

Anybody who has new ideas can share them here as comments which can help people and scientists to study and find out solutions.

Programmed Energy?

What I envisage is the creation of energy through computer programs which can be called Programmed Energy or Regenerated Energy. This is possible by setting up computers with programs that can generate 1 to 10 MW power from a pencil battery per hour. This is to be done by passing energy through programmed chips which can multiply the energy into a manifold that needs to be transferred to electrical conductors.

Ok, let’s assume that we want to 1MWh (1 Mega Watt Hour) of power generated.

If we want to store 1MWh (1 MegaWatt Hour) it needs 18650 batteries (a bit bigger than a AA - it measures 18mm in dia by 65mm in length). But we should be able to generate Programmedenergy with the help of computer programs 1MWh (1 Mega Watt Hour) with an input of power from a single battery.

This is possible and we need only to think and mobile resources to it so that we do not depend on anything to generate electricity but only on Programmed energy which can be generated and regenerated unceasingly.

 

How Can We Make Delhi Public Transport Better?

As a common man who has seen Delhi and its transport system for last 24 years I would like to share some of my observations and ideas to improve transport system.

Being the capital of India facilities available to live in Delhi for common man is not even upto the mark of a Metropolitan city. Many governments that have ruled Delhi failed to make Delhi a symbol of capital by improving its infrastructue required for smooth living for common man. It is happy to see some sincere efforts from AAP government which have made some positive improvements.

Problems People Face with Transport System

• Buses are dirty, as inside of buses is never cleaned
• Many of buses do not stop at bus stops 
• Buses are over crowded at peak time
• Present bus stops on road sides create heavy traffic jams
• Buses of same route starting from same point make it difficult commuters from other bus stops to get into bus due to overcrowding
• People has to wait for hours to get a bus even if many buses they want to board pass by as they are overcrowded.
• Frequency of buses are not properly done. Sometimes, people have to wait for 40 minutes to one hour to board a bus.
• Most of the time many same route buses go together without picking commuters as they are in race and there is no bus scheduled for hours.
• At present people need to walk to 1 to 2 km to reach a bus stops after de-boarding a bus to take another route bus at a junction.

Solutions

1. Every bus must enter the bus stop which is to be recorded through access card and it should be made mandatory for every bus to pass through and stop at all bus stations to pick up commuters to complete its route.

2. Here people have to access bus stations using card or token as done at metro station and bus stations should be the only place where people can board and de-board bus. 

3. This will help transport department reduce the cost of ticket checkers and conductors and will help increasing revenue as no one will be able to travel without ticket or pass.

4. It will help a route bus to start from any of stations as it is required, as many buses that starts from beginning station is not able to pick up commuters from other stations as it happens to be overcrowded when it reaches a station after 2-3 stops.  

5. Timing of buses should be arranged in a way that people only need to wait for a bus maximum 10 minutes at a bus station.

6. Underground station will help both to and fro buses stops at same place and it will be convenient for people to switch buses without much difficulty even at junctions as bus stops at junctions will be a common one to all direction at underground.

Give a Little Thought to Water Conservation on National Level

When we face severe water shortage, what we can do to save our people from drought.......

When people are suffering from water shortage and many places facing drought leaders and authorities who need to plan for future, only think of providing some relief money to people to blind the eyes of common man and get appreciation from others.

Nobody is concerned about what need to be done for tomorrow to avoid such situation.  Nobody has vision to provide long term solutions.

I would like to put forward the points I wrote on my blog around 5 years back again.

Let me take the case of Delhi.

A city like Delhi, it is not possible for people to harvest rain water due to lack of space. But  government can do it with the help of people. Following steps can help:

• Implement a master plan to collect rain water of Delhi at a particular place.

• First of all a develop water collection tanks with capacity of minimum storage capacity of  5000 lakh liter water with various level of  filtering system at a place where 4-5 residential colonies can be connected through strong and sufficient pipelines to collect water from terrace of each building.

• Put separate pipelines for rainwater from terrace of each building that can be channeled to the storage at every location.

• Make people aware of the importance of water harvesting and keeping the terrace clean and assign people to open the water harvesting channel only when it rains to collect rain water.

• Create a big lake to channel all the waters stored in water tanks at different places when it is full.  Channel the stored water  to the Lake and preserve it so that  Delhi has sufficient water for years.

• Also make a project to refill the abandon bore wells with rain water so that the retreated water level comes to earlier levels.

• Stop wasting of water

• Keep the water resources clean

• Enforce strict rules to stop polluting the rivers and clean them

• At last connect all Indian states with a centralized huge water supply lines by which water can be diverted from any place where it is sufficient at a time to another place faces drought.  Water to be treated as national property and central government has to monitor the above activity with the help of states so that everywhere everybody get sufficient water all the time and this can also save unnecessary flooding

Let me conclude with saying, only a person with long vision and passionate about people can implement this kind of project.
